| Description | Philistine strainer jug spout. Buffware, cream slip. Circular red bands, above and below spout with red and black Philistine patterns. Part of spout broken off. Six strainer holes. Previously numbered 34-22-66: Fragment of a spouted jug with part of the handle. Black ware burning brown, buff slip on the interior, cream-colored slip on the exterior having red and black painted decoration in two registers separated by horizontal lines; the upper register bears a pattern of concentric semicircular lines; the lower register bears groups of vertical straight and wavy lines and two horizontal tongue-shaped groups, one set above the other. |
