| Description | Plaid sarong with figures (tembe paleka-salunka). Predyed synthetic (nggoli). Machine sewn. Made in 1983, Ese Wawo hamlet. Red, with unbalanced plaid in green, white, hot pink. Panel defined by borders of yellow zig-zag pattern (nagi), with central panel of nested diamonds in yellow, white, & green. Letters "H" "L" "M" ("L" reversed) and the weaver's name, "HALIMA". Border stripes yellow. |
