| Description | Eight-lobed bronze mirror, pattern borrowed from a Chinese prototype of the Tang Dynasty (618-907 CE), may have been actually made in mold made from a Tang original, judging by character of casting, which is somewhat crude and indistinct. Obverse has superb patina, excellent example of original reflecting surface and patination. |
