| Description | Fine coil. Natural colour with decorative motifs in purplish brown; 3 zigzags alternating with 2 small diamonds; also 2 small double step motifs and a dash. Flat base, slightly rounded expanding sides. Donor says: "Given me by my friend whose family have owned Lake Tahoe for 75 years. The basket was made by one of the Indians there and given her mother; so we know its history for 75 years." |
