| Description | Sommerville: Antique paste intaglio, color deep sard. Mercury. Antique Pastes, Case UUU. Vermeule: Glass paste, imitating Sard. Intaglio. (Unmounted) Eros walking to right, a wreath and an uncertain object looking like a bow case in either hand. His quiver filled with arrows is slung over his shoulder. Graeco-Roman, in the decorative tradition of the early Roman Imperial period. |
