| Description | Benacci-type lunate razor. Bronze. In good condition. Very broad bladed razor with a tight interior curve which has a slight flange at its centre. There is a decorative pattern around the interior curve consisting of a group of concentric parallel lines with an exterior border of vertical lines within a wide band. There is a small suspension hole. The blunt end of the razor is crowned by a double knob finial. The handle is a ring shaped and is ornamented by two opposing crescents on the sides. Good condition but over-cleaned. |
