| Description | Wood. Concave-conver, rectangular extention at one end to which is attached an iron saw-toothed file. Scratched on Ana Ganbier Narii "This, and all equipment having legs, was cut from a single log. It is from Narii, o Maraa, tane of Rebetta. Brought from Gambier Ids by ancestors of Narii. Iron saw-teeth is modern, replacing a piece of coral or a saw edge made of bamboo or shell. The natives had no iron when this kind of equipment was made." |
