Description

Sanxian. Three strings, python skin over sounding box, box of dark wood with metal bands between head and body, dark wood neck curved into scroll beyond pegs. Hexagonal, tapering pegs, 1 missing. Remnant of paper with Chinese characters above pegs. Poor condition, skin broken on both sides, body detached from neck.
