| Description | Amphora Type B (as Richter & Milne, figs. 3-4) Minor pieces missing. A. Center, Poseidon, at left, hurling the island Nisyros on the semi-recumbent giant Polybotes at right. On either side is a fully armed warrior, perhaps giants. B. Frontal quadriga, with charioteer. Lotus and palmette chain above panels, rays above foot. |
