| Description | Sommerville: Antique paste intaglio. A chimera. Very ingenious. Antique Pastes, Case ZZZ. Vermeule: Glass paste, imitating Sard. Intaglio. (Unmounted) A Gryllos type subject, extremely difficult to identify. It appears to consist of a crested helmet which appears to become; on closer examination, a lion mounted on the back of an elephant, the former engaged in attacking with jaws and claws.
