| Description | String bag with strap (korap men), for personal items. Same functional type as 89-17-97, but different netting technique. This is interlocked braid, as on naa shell headbands (see 89-17-35 and 89-17-40). Made and carried by both men and women. Made by Marata Andai, Kandam clan, Ninati village, Irian Jaya, living in Dome refugee camp. Purchased from her 4/1/89. |
