| Description | Brown ware, bistre paint on both surfaces -- on the interior in solid colour except for a small section of cross-hatching near the smaller (upper?) end of the sherd; on exterior, in solid bands, sections of parallel wavy lines. Technique? The buff "reserve" part, particularly in the wavy lines, appears over the bistre paint. |
