| Description | Loin cloth (or apron) with an embroidered pattern in diamonds with birds head center. Warp fringe. Loin clothes of this shape are worn by the fishers, on going out fishing; the cloth is put on beginning at the back. Patterned band, supplemental floats in orange and brown wool. Warp fringe. Waist band is a separate piece in a warp-faced plain weave stitched to top. Color(s): White cotton, and orange and brown camelid yarns. |
