| Description | Cylindrical spurce root basket. Fairly coarse weave. Two bands of design done in a different fibre. Colors of design: yellowfish beige, orange, dark brown. Overstiched border on rim. Base has been covered with a piece of cardboard. Technical notes: twined, close twined, two-strand, three-strand, wrapped weft ("false embroidery"); 13 warps and 18 wefts per square inch. Butterfly design; novice weaving. |
