| Description | Black slip jug; Incomplete; upper part of neck and approximately two thirds of rim missing; base chipped; slip generally worn; exposed fabric soft and powdery. High base ring/low foot;ovoid body with greatest diameter at upper shoulder; concave neck;pinched rim; vertical handle from rim to shoulder. Deep, even, incised lines encircling shoulder; wide, even, vertical flutes on body. |
