| Description | Kail suitang. Used by the Malays in fishing from rafts where their bathing houses are built. Bamboo handle with a wooden rod inserted into the end. The wooden rod is wrapped with string, several metal loops attached through which fishing line is strung. A reel is inserted through the handle and wound with more fishing line. The reel has a Chinese coin as a washer. |
