| Description | Chous, small. Intact save for an occasional chip and some worn spots. Underside of foot reserved and covered with a red wash. The rest black glazed excluding interior. Panel formed by a reserved framing line in front (opposite handle). Above, a bunch of grapes, reserved, with black dots for grapes. Below, pacing to right on the ground line is a canine identified by Sir John Beazley and Richard Green as a Maltese dog. |
