| Description | Circular Tsamba box. Cylindrical box with flat base. Cover, which fits inside mouth of box, in 3 steps, the top one a flat disc. Shows use of primitive lathe for hollowing. Painting characteristic of East Tibetans; rather brash colors; red with some black, blue, yellow, orange, green; Chinese 'shou' used as good luck charms(2 long ones and 2 half round ones). |
