| Description | Wooden Katsina doll. The face is painted black and the eyes are bulging. The mouth is a small rectangle with painted teeth. A tuft of feathers is attached to the top of the head. The body is painted red and white and a kilt is painted around the waist. This figure may be a variation of the Warrior (Chakwaina) Katsina or a Chakwaina family member. |
