| Description | White steatite, brown remains of glaze. Base inscribed. Oren: “Scarab.” “Description: white steatite with traces of brown glaze. Prothorax and wing-cases not indicated; two side notches indicating the beginning of elytra; head and clypeus united so as to form one body; no eyes nor legs. The scarab rests on one socket. Design: Bordered with a row of strokes, and inscribed with n’n neb as well as neb-like sign on the top. Assigned by Rowe to the XVIIIth-XIXth Dynasties.” |
