Dance Wand

Made by Jerry Aaron, used in the Eagle Dance in the Long House in 1939 - one per person. Made of wood with four grooves. The first groove at the tip of the wand has one eagle feaher attached to the wand with thread and red cloth. There is a red cloth tassel half-way down the feather, and a tassle of red, pink, green ribbon and blue string at the tip of the feather. The second groove has three small feathers attached to the wand by thread and green ribbon. The third groove has three small feathers attached by brown cloth and thread. There is a piece of red cloth with yellow ribbon next to this groove. The fourth groove has two small feathers attached by thread to the wand.
