| Description | broken, but old break [as evidenced by impression] CBS Register: cylinder seal. soapstone. scene of worship to Samas. 21 x 11 mm UE X: the worshipper in turban and fringed shawl, stands with clasped hands before a seated god of the "standard" type as above, perhaps holding a sceptre or a sword (?). Behind the worshipper a nude (?) Amorite servant pours a libation. Ampulla, libra, hand, Nergal curved weapon are scattered in the field. Black steatite cylinder. |
