| Description | White, rather loose plain weave, edges decorated in red and green alternating stripes, geometric floral designs and animals are part of woven fabric design, embroidered small dots. Main colors are: red, green, blue, mauve, both silk and cotton thread. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 32 epi, 3 ply, white cotton. Weft: 22 ppi, 3 ply, white cotton. Balanced plain weave with warp faced red and green stripes. Supplemental weft - two faced. 1 panel - 3 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom." |
