| Description | Wooden staff with a ball shaped top. Carved and incised crest; looks like a bird. Eyes are small metal disks nailed into both side of ball. Surface of ball is worn. A metal blade projects out of the front of the ball just below the crest. Wood surface is relatively smooth (nicks and abrasions) with a worn black patina. Blade is rusty and dull with bent edges. Patch of red pigment on one side of the blade. |
