| Description | A mixture of Chinese and Korean coins, sixteen in total. There are five Korean coins with 常平通寶 Sangpyeong tongbo on the obverse. There are eleven coins from the Qing Dynasty. Five from the Kangxi period (康熙通寶), five from the Yongzheng period (雍正通寶), and one from the Qianlong period (乾隆通寶) period. These coins were part of the game "Fan tan." (番攤), a gambling game. They were used by Chinese living in America. |
