| Description | Lid has very gentle slope. Knob is roughly spherical, pointed at the top. Glazed: knob and circular area immediately around it; a band at mid-point on slope; a wider band around edge of top. Underside unglazed and without flange. Clay varies from finely micaceous pink to a pinkish brown. Glaze is black but metallic. Broken but complete except for one fairly large chip. |
