| Description | Momotaro (桃太郎) known as "peach boy", on horseback with a sword in his right hand and a spear in the left hand. His hands are colored blue. There are eighteen metal jointed plaques; fringe and brocade saddle; hair on horse's mane and tail; face of the warrior is laquered wood; wooden stirrups; placque on each leg (knee to ankle); silk pants; breast and back armor; brocade undergarments. One leg of warrior is lifted on horse. Blue and white silk rein and wood saddle. The figure and head are pegged into the horse. There is a "Made in Japan" label. |
