| Description | Late phase, Moki-style woman's Chief blanket. Two-ply (bayeta?) blue-gray wool. The background is small blue-gray and black stripes interspersed approximately every fifteen centimeters with stripes containing white wefts. In the center is a large stepped-diamond design element with white, blue-gray and red stripes. At each corner of the blanket and in the middle of the two length-sides half this design element appears. The edges are overcast with blue-gray overhand stitching. |
