| Description | Small fragment of ivory pyxis with fragment showing long hair curls and part of upper wing; some gold overlay on part of wing. Muscarella Publication: "A small fragment preserving only the forepart of the wing decorated in lozenge pattern like nos. 226, 227, and what seems to be the lower part of hair curls; the hair is not the same as that of the sphinxes on the other pyxides. Gold foil is preserved." |
