| Description | Three panels sewn together, each with four selvedges. Neck not cut out. Bands of open weave alternating with bands of supplementary weft brocade. Figures: people, animals, plants. Per Sigrid Meier 1997: Warp: 34 ep single Z-twisted white cotton. Weft: 36 ppi single Z-twisted white cotton. Balanced plain weave, supplementary weft: double-faced; 4 single Z-twisted white cotton. Made on a backstrap loom. |
