| Description | Gilt bronze statue of a standing Buddha in "royal attire" or the rich robes of a Universal King, the moral leader of mankind. The Buddha wears an elaborate tiered headdres, armlets, necklaces, skirt, sandals with upturned toes. Three-tiered hexagonal pedestal surmounted by low round stand, short tang at back. All ornamentation is in high relief. Inlaid glass "jewels". |
