| Description | Silver "Gondar" cross with socket. Cross filled with elaborate, interwoven filigree; 3 arms are also of filigreed crosses. The circle which has 2 incised angles and a Virgin and child above. The other side has the crucified Christ. The body of the cross is supported by a flat, semicircular band of silver, attached at either end to the filigree with silver clamps; tthe two ends of the band meet at the socket. |
