| Description | Black slip jug; Incomplete; most of neck missing; rim missing; only stub of handle at join with shoulder preserved; surface spalled;slip generally worn; exposed fabric soft and powdery. ring base; ovoid body with greatest diameter at lower shoulder; moderately wide neck; pinched rim; vertical handle from rim (?) to shoulder. Thin incised lines encircling shoulder; uneven, wide, shallow, vertical flutes on body. |
