| Description | black, broken in half longitudinally. above: row of concentric circles. below: miniature eagle-headed, winged figure; feline tail and wing tip of some seated monster. concentric circles suggest Mitannian style. Black steatite, broken in half longitudinally; above: row of concentric circles; below: minature eagle-headed, winged figured (Note: Position of legs does not resemble the hovering bird motif); below again appears the feline tail and wing tip of some seated monster. Concentric circles suggest Mitannian style. Seal may be Syrian of the latter half of II millennium. |
