| Description | A wooden shield fluted on both sides and covered in red ochre. The top of the shield has a handful of holes and gorges in it, including a large chunk of wood which is slightly cracked and broken. The back of the shield has two indentations which connect under a bridge of wood, creating a handle. “Shows New Guinea influence.” (Catalog Card) |
