| Description | Dhokra work in brass. The artisan's deity, seated on an elephant and holding tongs, a balance, and a chisel in his four hands. The deity has a halo behind him. Made by Baikuntha Karmakar, Ganja Village, Bardwan District, W. Bengai, 1988. Sold to Sukhari Karmakar who sold it to us "at cost" he said. |
