| Description | From 38-23-154. Of flat irregular looped strips of braided palm leaf. Attached to shaman's arrow it formed a means of communicating with the god, symbolizing the foot beat of the celebrant in the dance of the hiculi [peyote] ceremony. The beat of the dance symbolizes the preparation of the ground for the seed corn. |
