| Description | Ito wood (ironwood). Four-sided, each covered with lengthwise, parallel grooves, but of different widths. On the square end incised decoration in the form of pseudo-Chinese characters. Carved, curvilinear decoration, including a human face on the grip. Very old. Striking end with square cross-section, four faces with longitudinal grooves: 12, 16, 19 20. |
