| Description | Woman's belt. Red cotton with horizontal brocaded bands, twisted fringes. Warp stripes in green, orange, yellow and jaspe. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 68 epi, two singles, Z twist, red, yellow, dark blue, orange and ikat cotton. Three ply, yellow, green, blue and purple rayon. Weft: 24 ppi, two singles Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
