| Description | Vermeule: Yellow Sard. Intaglio. (Modern gold ring setting) Eros with bow attempting to retrieve his arrow which is held by a short skirted female facing him. She is no doubt meant to be Aphrodite, but she wears costume of Artemis or one of her nymphs. 18th in the late Rococco style. |
