Description

One of a series of woodblock prints with color depicting the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895. This print shows two Korean soldiers in black running away from an attack by the Japanese army at Daewongun Palace also known as Gyeongbok Palace. There are inscriptions in red in the margins and a seal and signature for the artist Yukawa Hiromitsu.
