| Description | Vermeule: Amethyst. Intaglio. (Modern gold ring setting) Draped bust of woman to right. Inscription in Greek letters "ADMON." She has a headdress in the style of Roman Empresses of the time of Julia Domna and the wives of Elagabalus. Probably 18th or 19th in good imitation of an ancient portrait gem. |
