| Description | Stemmed scraper. Twisting shape. Wide stem. Black obsidian. End of stem is rough. Stemmed scrapers were found throughout the Jomon period. 29-183-26, although slightly squatter than many of the elongated stemmed scrapers, is typologically the same as 29-183-2, 29-183-3, 29-183-10 and 29-183-12. This type was especially prevalent in northern Japan. |
