| Description | Tomb brick from coffin. Light grey clay. Scene in molded low relief. On the left is an animal-headed demon pursued by a man with a long lance. To the right of the demon is a three-legged bird, possibly a crow or phoenix, followed by Xiwangmu who is seated between the foreparts of a dragon and a tiger. To the right of the tiger is a prancing horse with erect bushy tail. On the far right, the Moon Hare is depicted pounding into a mortar. |
