| Description | Vermeule: Carnelian. Intaglio. Apollo leaning to right, on a large lyre placed on a column. His right hand is placed on top of his head. Composition reproduces a celebrated Temple statue in Rome. Statue itself was probably carved c. 100 B.C. Graeco-Roman. |
