| Description | A mounted photograph showing the hanging scroll "Viewing Plum Flowers in Snow" (雪中見楳図) by Nukina Kaioku (貫名 海屋; 1778–1863) painted in 1841 CE. The original is in the Honolulu Museum of Art. Above the scroll is a with page with Japanese handwriting which is likely a colophon associated withe painting, possibly by the artist or collector. The photograph is mounted on a white rectangular sheet of paper and has some faded pink spots, likely from water damage. |
