| Description | Shaman wrestling. 2 almost identical figurines (except that on one the breasts are slightly shown, may indicate a female-sex otherwise indeterminable). Both wear pointed caps with a horn-like protrusion in middle of one and to the side of the other. Nose plugs, earplugs, necklace. Appliqued band 3/4 around waist and skirt with incised linear decoration, present on both figurines. Figures attached at waist. Although in sitting positions they are only free-standing when "male" figure is set lying on his back. Upper-most figure has additional incisions across hips on back of skirt. Hands stroke opposite figure's "horns". Legs crossed and tapering. |
