| Description | Carved human dance figure. Wearing grass skirt. Standing on a cylindrical pedestal, which is upraised on a circular frame. Hair of black feathers. Eyes of cut shell with a small patch of black paper nailed into head. Red mouth, outlined in white, and beard of small (5mm.) wooden sticks in a single row around chin. Body painted white and blue, with arms nailed in separately with wooden pins. Grass skirt painted with patches of blue. |
