| Description | Painting. Bonpag (Black Lama) painting. Mahakala, Sadhu (Legden). The deities are not decipherable, as very little is known about this religion (but see description of 51-4-127). Bottom center: a plan of the Universe (Bon cosmology). Lower right: a Tibetan queen with her entourage and a row of distaffs. Lower left: a Tibetan king with his palace-fortress, and a row of arrows. Extremely interesting and very valuable. Practically unique in the Occident. Bottom center: a fragment of Chinese textile with human figures which may be very, very old. |
