| Description | Pottery: cream with black decoration. Flattened body; cylindrical neck; two small vertical handles on body. Narrow-necked jar/bottle with a lentoid body, cylindrical neck, outward sloping rim, 2 lug handles on the body, and a ridged base. No molded/modeled additions. The vessel is painted with decorations in black. Two stripes are visible; however, much of the painted surface is faded or lost. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is buff in color. The catalogue number is written on the bottom of the base and black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "1330." |
